Journal Entry: Mon May 5, 2008, 10:47 PM
Hey everybody.
I know it's been quite a wait for my themes, but now I need to get them FF3 compatible. I uploaded the source repository if you are an experience developer and want to help.

Oh, wonderful!!! :D
I was so disappointed when FF3 told me I couldn't have Redshift V2 as my theme anymore. Now I've got this weird grey and blue one--better than FF's default theme (ugh, beige), but I'm glad you're going to update the themes. I'm going to go ahead and DevWatch your journals, if that's ok--I want to make sure I know what's going on!
Thanks for making those lovely themes! :D

I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing, but I'm fairly sure I'm doing it brilliantly.

Happy belated birthday! Thank you for all the hard work you have put into your themes! I don't even bother using any other themes other than Redshift all of the time with Firefox.

Don't give up on your themes please they are awesome. I won't switch to FF3 until I can use this skin with it too. So please keep it going and take all the time you need :)
~Neosiber:iconNeosiber: Mar 27, 2008, 10:24:33 PM
It would be great if the themes could be adapted to work on Thunderbird too.

The coloring is not the part that takes the time, It's finishing the actual code. It's not ready to be colored. And now I'm starting to convert it for Firefox 3, so it won't be colored until after that.

Bro... you've got mad skills and I understand that your swamped, but I manage a clan site that runs on PHP-Nuke and I'm wondering if you've every thought about creating any Nuke themes? I would love to see one of your shifts as the backbone of a web site... I would even pay for that! Keep up the good work!
~Skinjob7:iconSkinjob7: Jul 17, 2007, 2:23:37 PM
Cool. I'm sure everyone would love to have whatever colors you've got, even if it's not the full set you hoped for.
~Shift-Themes:iconShift-Themes: Jul 9, 2007, 5:07:03 PM
I'm still working on them, or trying to at least. I got a new job to try to pay the bills and I don't really have any free time to devote. I might just release them without finishing the rest of the parts that were planned on being released simultaneously.

It's been 5 months since the initial release. Are you still planning on releasing the other colors or has the project has been canceled?

Not trying to harass you, just want to know if I should continue to hold my breath or not.

My Work,

Be patient. I'm sure it takes a lot of work to configure the theme into other colors and it's just going to take time. Have patience and I'm sure you'll get what we all are looking forward to.

Anyways, I love Red Shift V2. V2 is so much better than the V1 set.

Cameron, any update with other shift colors? If you need a tester or another donation, let me know. I was hoping to have a few other shift themes soon. One other question, do you think one day you could program one master theme which would allow the user to switch colors or themes simply by a menu choice?

I was looking through themes for Firefox and I saw your OrangeShift theme and loved it, but I can't use it with Firefox 2.0.0.3. Is there going to be another created that is compatable? If so, do you know when?

Although I'm glad you made a FF2 theme, I LOVED the old theme for FF 1. Is it possible for you to make the theme the same on FF2? If not, may you give me permission to transfer it?

Very cool themes. Im using Redshift V2 right now! XP

Ive used dark colored themes for too long, now it messes up my eyes when i use a light colored theme.

I cant wait for Orangeshift V2.

Nice job with RedShift V2. I didn't take to your earlier versions, maybe it was just where my head was at the time. I'm really digging this one though. If you get around to making the other colors, I'd like to see the blue with more of a cobalt tone. I liked the color of the earlier version, but I'd prefer it a bit deeper.
